I've heard the new album, Gold Cobra, and I think it's really good (in
spite of some odd lyrics). Some top class instrumentation from Wes
Borland, Sam Rivers and John Otto. Yet I've seen plenty of reviews of
the album where people completely dismiss the album purely due to Fred
Durst (even one stating that the instruments were fantastic but Durst
drags the rating down to a 1 star, but after Wes Borland responded
they changed it to a 2 star). It seems Durst is a bit of a knob but
why do people always let that get in the way of the music?
To all those saying it's purely Fred Durst, WHY? That's what I'm
trying to ask. It's a pretty pathetic reason imo, if the music's good
then you should try to look past the members, not like you're ever
gonna meet them. The lead singer of Black Veil Brides has a much worse
personality.
